Giampiero and Fabio Verna, inseparable twins, were born in Pescara on November 24th 1974, and after having achieved a goldsmith expert diploma with highest marks, in 1996 they created "Verna Oro", a unique and in some way remarkable goldsmith laboratory. The uniqueness that one notices at first sight turns into a surprise due to the cultural extraction of the laboratory. The creations are the result of a profound interpretation of the Mediterranean cultural identity studied in it's multple aspects: from the historical to the cultural, to the literary and artistic aspects proceeding, in their structural studies, in a way in which the use of the materials is only the last phase. It is in these terms that they reproposed with success traditional jewels and invented "I Tomboli d'oro", a complete line of jewels obtained by transferring with ingenious intuition the decorations of the tombolo embroidery to the jewellers art. When creativity finds the necessary space, absolutely unique works of art are produced among which: a pectoral cross of liturgical use dedicated to Pope Celestino V, a "Pax" also dedicated to him, a Paten that with precious miniatures covers from the Creation to the Final Judgement, a silver altar-cross and other creations like the "Award for the Merits of Two Worlds".
